Delete Your Account
Request complete deletion of your MoneyFetch account and all associated data
We respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your MoneyFetch account, please follow the instructions below.
How to Request Account Deletion
- Send an email to privacy@moneyfetch.app from the email address associated with your MoneyFetch account
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- In the email body, confirm that you want to permanently delete your account and all associated data
- We will verify your identity and process your request
Processing Time: Your request will be processed within 30 days in accordance with GDPR and CCPA requirements.
What Data Will Be Deleted
Upon account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Account Information: Your email, name, and profile data
- Transaction History: All financial transactions you've recorded
- Budget Data: Budgets, goals, and financial categories
- AI Insights: Personalized recommendations and analysis history
- Token Balance: Any remaining tokens in your account
- App Preferences: Settings and customizations
Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure to export any data you wish to keep before submitting your deletion request.
Data We May Retain
In accordance with legal requirements, we may retain certain data for a limited period:
- Payment Records: Transaction records for tax and accounting purposes (retained for 7 years as required by law)
- Legal Compliance: Data required to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes
- Anonymized Data: Aggregated, non-identifiable statistics that cannot be linked to your account
Alternative: Delete Data Within the App
You can also manage your data directly within the MoneyFetch app:
- Go to Settings > Account
- Select Delete Account
- Confirm your decision
